I have always enjoyed teaching my children. We have homeschooled for several years. As my daughter has stated recently, I have been her teacher for most of her life. We have even gone through the great subeject of Chemistry. The material we have used before tend to be a little difficult to understand and figure somethings out. We are looking forward to trying a new material called "Friendly Chemistry". Check out http://www.freelyeducate.com/ for more info on a great giveaway on this great curriculum.

Great Holiday!!
It was a wonderful Christmas holiday. Aundrea was able to come for two weeks and we thoroughly enjoyed having her home. Connie was in from Wyoming, thank you Mark for sharing her with us.
Now it is back the regular routine. School, church, and more school. Aundrea has started her second semester at college and loving it. Micah is working hard to possibly graduate early. Natalie, well let's just say....Natalie is being Natalie.
Our church has started a boy's basketball team. They have played only one game at this time but will play their second game next week.
We are so blessed with a wonderful family and church

Things are happening
Alot has been going on here with the Robertsons. Micah has been out in Wyoming since the 13th. He has been having an awesome time with his aunt and uncle. The first day of elk hunting Uncle Mark got himself a 10 point elk.

Natalie has been to Rockford and back. Aundrea is having a blast at college. Please continue to pray for her. God is using her while there, we are so excited to see God work in her life.

Later Micah tried his hand at crawdad fishing.....He had to get out into the water and grab them with his hands. he was able to get 35 huge crawdads. That evening they had them for supper, not one of my favorite meals. Micah enjoyed it.

This Saturday is our Ladies Luncheon. I plan on sharing how God still uses women today in our churches. There is a proper place for us ladies and when we are in that place we can be used greatly of God.

What a week
This last week has been very interesting to say the least. Praise the Lord for the men in our church that helped get my van up and running. It isn't a good thing to have your van not running when you use it to pick folks up for church.
Thursday night was a special night. Joel and I were able to save enough to take Naty and Micah to Red Lobster. How enjoyable it was to be with two of our kids.
Speaking of one missing. Aundrea is doing great at college. She has been able to lead 6 folks to Lord so far. It is such a blessing to hear her excited about serving the Lord. She is now working two jobs though.
Last weekend when our van went down, I couldn't help but just say Thank you Lord. "In everything give thanks...." Learning to do this even when the rough and tough times come has been a blessing. The loads seems a little better to bear.
Again, we are blessed

Micah's Dr visit
Today we went to see a cardiologist for Micah. We recently found out that Micah has an irregular heart beat. According to the doctor his is not that unusual. It doesn't seem to concern this doctor at this time. As for Micah's lost of vision, this doctor explained that Micah may not be getting enough fluids in the body. If you do not have enough fluid than you are not getting enough blood or pressure into the brain. So we will increase his fluid level and see how this works. Of course, he has to cut much of his caffeine drinks out, which he only drinks Sweet Tea.
It would be such a blessing if this took care of the problem. Please continue to keep Micah in your prayers.

What a weekend
This past weekend, Thursday through Sunday was CornFest here in Morris, IL. Thousands upon thousands come to this festival. Our church had a small booth with soda, water, and hot chocolate. This helps our youth fund. The weather was very cold, so the hot chocolate sold great. However, while sitting there we were moved by the people that walked by. So many folks need the Lord.

Starting Over
For awhile I tried to "Blog", but never caught on to it. However, there is so much happening in our lives that I thought I would try it again. I will not promise to post something everyday, but will do my best to keep updates frequent.
